The Palm Beach County Domestic Violence
Coordinated Community Response (DV CCR)
The Palm Beach County Domestic Violence Coordinated Community Response (DV CCR) team is a multidisciplinary model that works with communities to develop more effective responses to domestic violence. It brings together survivors, advocacy programs, law enforcement, criminal justice, child welfare, culturally specific agencies, community members and other social services agencies together to coordinate their responses, integrating best practices into the infrastructure of case processing, so that victims and their children are safer, offenders are held more accountable and the responsibility for ending the violence is shifted from the victim to the community.
At it's core, the PBC DV CCR operates under the belief that domestic violence is a community issue and requires the collaborative engagement of the entire community to address it.
